Last updated: September 2026. Anime schedules change often — we'll keep this page updated as official announcements land.
Waiting between seasons is the hardest part of being an anime fan. So here's a single, no-spoilers roundup of what's airing now and what's coming next for four of the biggest series — One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan and Naruto/Boruto. And because every premiere deserves a watch party, we've matched each one to a nail set from our Anime Edit.
One Piece: new episodes every week
Status: airing now. After a break following the end of the Egghead arc in December 2025, the One Piece anime returned on April 5, 2026 with the long-awaited Elbaph arc. New episodes stream on Crunchyroll every Sunday, landing on Netflix the following Saturday. Toei has also moved the show to a slower, higher-quality pace, so expect fewer episodes per year than the old weekly marathon.
What else is coming:
- LEGO One Piece — a two-part animated recap special of the live-action series, on Netflix from September 29, 2026.
- Live-action season 3, The Battle of Alabasta — filming has wrapped and Netflix has confirmed a 2027 release.
- The One Piece remake by WIT Studio — reported for February 2027.
- A God Valley anime film — announced in August 2026 for 2027.
Watch-party nails: Nakama (for the crew), Devil Fruit or Sworn to the Sea.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 (The Culling Game Part 2)
Status: in production, no release date yet. Season 3 — The Culling Game Part 1 — aired from January to March 2026, and a fourth season covering The Culling Game Part 2 was announced straight after the finale. MAPPA released the first teaser trailer on June 19, 2026 as part of its anniversary celebrations, but hasn't confirmed a premiere date. Industry reporting has pointed to early 2027 at the earliest — treat that as speculation until MAPPA confirms.
While you wait: the manga has finished, so this is a great time to read ahead (carefully, if you hate spoilers).
Watch-party nails: King of Curses, Cursed Energy or The Vessel.
Attack on Titan: what's next?
Status: the anime is complete — but the franchise isn't going anywhere. The story concluded with the final season and the compilation film Attack on Titan: The Last Attack. There's no new season coming, but there's still plenty for fans in late 2026:
- New versions of The Last Attack are heading to theaters in Japan on October 23, 2026.
- Attack on Titan 3, the new action game, releases on December 10, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
- WIT Studio has also been sharing new official illustrations and collaborations throughout 2026.
Honestly? It's the perfect time for a full rewatch.
Watch-party nails: Wings of Freedom, Scarlet Scarf, The Fall of the Walls or Cruel but Beautiful.
Naruto & Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
Status: anime in development, no premiere date. The original Boruto anime paused in March 2023 at the time skip, and a second part has been officially confirmed as in development — but as of September 2026, no premiere date or window has been announced. Be wary of social media posts claiming a "confirmed" date. In the meantime, the Two Blue Vortex manga continues monthly in V Jump, with fresh English translations shortly after each release.
Watch-party nails: Kitsune – Nine Tails, Triple Tomoe, Sakin – Gilded Sand or The Disgraced One.
