✦ Wear Them Again & Again ✦
Your sets are made to be reused. How many wears you get comes down to three things: how gently you take them off, how you clean them, and how you store them between looks.
1. Remove gently
- Soak your fingertips in a bowl of warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes. A few drops of cuticle oil in the water helps loosen the adhesive faster.
- Use a cuticle stick to gently lift each nail from the side, not the tip. Work slowly and let the adhesive release on its own.
- If a nail resists, soak for another few minutes. Never force it.
Never peel or pry. Pulling a press-on off dry can take layers of your natural nail with it and crack the press-on itself. Patience saves both.
2. Clean them up
- Peel away any adhesive tab residue from the underside, or gently buff off dried glue with the soft side of a buffer.
- Wipe the underside with a little rubbing alcohol so the next application has a clean surface to grip.
- Avoid acetone on the top of your nails. It can dull or strip the design.
- Let them dry completely before storing.
3. Store them safely
- Keep them in order. Line your nails up from thumb to pinky and store them back in their box that way, so reapplying takes seconds and you never have to re-size.
- Store them flat and away from direct sunlight, heaters and steamy bathrooms. Heat and UV can warp the shape and fade the color.
- Keep each set separate so designs don't scratch against each other.
4. Reapply like new
- Push back your cuticles and lightly buff the shine off your natural nails.
- Wipe your natural nails with the prep pad or rubbing alcohol to remove oils. This is the step most people skip, and the biggest reason nails lift.
- Apply fresh adhesive tabs or nail glue. Adhesive tabs are not reusable, so always use new ones.
- Press each nail on at a slight angle from the cuticle down, and hold firm pressure for 20–30 seconds.
Make every wear last longer
- Avoid hot water, baths and showers for 1–2 hours after applying.
- Wear gloves for washing dishes and cleaning.
- Use your fingertips, not your nails, to open cans, peel stickers or scratch at things.
- Adhesive tabs are best for a night out or a few days' wear and easier to remove. Nail glue gives the longest hold for a week or more.
